A Night of Magic: Celebrating the Webby Awards with the Phelps Twins
May was a month filled with incredible experiences. Not only did Makeup by Remi receive the esteemed honor of a Webby Award, but we also had the privilege of contributing to the success of another prestigious win.
We were delighted to serve as the men's grooming team for Jam City HQ and Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery as they accepted the award for Best Action and Adventure Game at the 28th Annual Webby Awards. The star-studded ceremony, hosted by the captivating Amber Ruffin, unfolded at the elegant Cipriani Wall Street, culminating in an unforgettable celebration of the best of the internet.
Behind the scenes, we had the pleasure of preparing the talented James and Oliver Phelps for their acceptance speech. As a natural makeup artist, my focus is always on enhancing the natural charisma while ensuring clients look their best under the bright lights. For this project, A subtle touch of concealer and a light dusting of translucent powder were all that was needed to even out the skin tone and minimize any shine.
